The H By-Pass type pneumatic stopper can be inflated with air or nitrogen and is made of synthetic fabric coated on both faces with plastomer-resistant oil; its elasticity to the diameter allows a perfect seal in the pipe.

This pneumatic stopper is equipped with handles for its correct positioning inside the tube and to inflate it it is equipped with a flexible tube with a valve and a safety vent valve.

USE

H Type By-Pass Pneumatic Plug is suitable for temporarily connecting circular section lines such as oil lines, relatively high pressure gas lines. It is recommended when the increase in back pressure during maintenance work on the pipeline reaches the same level as the inflation pressure of the plugs up to a maximum increase of approximately 1.5 times the inflation pressure value.

To improve its resistance to the residual pressure present in the pipe, the cap is equipped with standard accessories:

• 4 sealing rings along the cylindrical body;
• 1 internal by-pass pipe (size 1″; section 1 ½”; 2″ and 3″) mounted at the external end with a free open coupling head and with an end suitable for connecting the “Storz” coupling.

It is possible to evacuate excess fumes from the work area using a flexible hose (available as an option) after fitting a “Storz” coupling on one end.
