The pneumatic plug type F is used for the temporary filling of pipes with a circular section of low pressure gas. After the correct positioning of the cap in the pipe with the help of the appropriate handles, the plug is inflatable with air/ nitrogen through a flexible tube with valve. After use the cap can be folded and stored in small spaces.

The pneumatic stopper type F is built with gas-resistant plastomers whose elasticity allows a dilation of the diameter up to 30% of the nominal value In the figure next to it is shown the increase in the diameter of the cap after inflation.
