This type of shutter balloon is used to perform sealing tests on waste pipes and is characterized by a great adaptability to the internal diameters of existing pipes whether they are of cement/asbestos, PVC, stoneware, fiberglass or other material, also offers increased pressure resistance. They are available in various diameters.

These shutter balloons are made of NBR/CR rubber with internal weft in Rayon and Kevlar yarn.

On each balloon is mounted the quick coupling for inflation, on the larger balloons are mounted two. The safety rings shall be proportionate in number and size to the size of the flask. All Plugy shutter balloon can be inserted into manholes 600 600 mm in size.
